Nvidia Titan XP Star Wars Collector’s Edition.
Last week Nvidia Titan XP was teased on youtube. Nvidia today revealed the graphics card showing that it is a Star Wars themed collector’s edition card.
The card was expected to be revealed during CES 2018 but seems like Nvidia couldn’t hold it back. This is the perfect card for the die-hard Jedi fans. We assumed that the green and red light, shown in teaser would be something pointing out the rivalry or custom lightning in the card but seems like we got it all wrong.
Both cards are designed to symbolize the red colour of the Galactic Empire and the green colour of the Jedi order. Now it’s up to you to choose whether the Jedi order or the Galactic Empire. And it is pretty interesting how they ingrained the signs of Galactic Empire and Jedi Order in the fan of the card.
If you are wondering about the specifications of this card it is using the same Titan Xp architecture which means the card comes with 3840 Nvidia Cuda cores along with boost clock frequency of 1582 MHz, a beastly 12.1 TFLOPs of computational power having 12 GB of GDDR5x at 11.4 Gbps with 384-bit memory interface.
You all must be wondering about price. The Nvidia Titan XP Star Wars edition has a price tag of $1,200 and will start shipping mid-November. However, being a Star Wars themed graphics card the card still doesn’t include a copy of Star Wars Battlefront II. One thing is for sure that with the launch of these cards we will be seeing some really cool Star Wars themed moded custom builds.
