Ubisoft has just recently revealed a trailer for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands: The Badge Special Operation. The little trailer teases a Rainbow Six Siege crossover. Both of Tom Clancy’s games merging for a crossover will be surely fun. And I mean a lot of it.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands Getting Rainbow Six Siege Crossover.
Ubisoft has just released a teaser trailer for Ghost Recon Wildlands second year’s new big update. This time they will be bringing Six Siege to Wildlands. Rainbow Six Siege is one of Ubisoft’s most played games having a large number of active players base. For those who don’t know this isn’t the first time that Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting a crossover. Last year we got the Splinter Cell crossover in the first year first big update.
After the trailer, today Ubisoft has revealed more details about the 2nd year special operation 2. Starting tomorrow 24th of July, the special operation 2 will bring a lot more content to the game. It’s just we yet don’t know when the content will be live.
Ubisoft released another trailer featuring the highlights of the new content to be added in the update. Just like the previous update, this update will bring a new map, new weapons and a lot of new items. What’s new is they will be adding emotes in game, two new classes, two new modes, a new free mission and victory poses(We will read about all that below).
Let’s begin with Ghost mode. This mode brings you the hardest challenges. In this mode, you’ll have to play with extreme caution and be steady with your aim as you might take down your own teammates as the friendly fire will be on. Also once you die you stay dead. Your death will be permanent so take each step with caution. What’s more challenging is you have to be careful with your reloading. The remaining ammo in your magazine will be lost. Only the bests will survive. This free mode will be rolled out to everyone but the Year 2 pass holders will get a one-week early access starting tomorrow.
With observer mode, you can now into a custom game with a dedicated slot to observe the game. You can observe the best players and adapt their skills to become even better.
New Classes: Surgeon and Toxic:
Two new classes are being added, the Surgeon and the Toxic. The surgeon is an assault class equipped with an MPD-0 pistol. While the Toxic class is a new support class that uses a drone to shoot sulphur bombs on the enemy and make them suffocate with the toxic gas.
Ghost Recon Wildlands will be having new emotes. The emotes are a character animation or a voice line. For instance “Watch your flank, Hero!” or doing a facepalm.
Along with all that, there will be more than 100 new items being added to the game along with character customization. Year 2 pass holders will gain access to all that one week earlier than those who don’t own the pass.
