PUBG Desert Map Layout, New Vehicles And Gun Leaked.
It has been around for a long time and everyone knows that PUBG is getting a new Desert Map. During Paris Games Week that took place a few days ago, PUBG devs told us the great news that PUBG will be finally getting out of early access with the launch of PUBG 1.0 that will include the Desert map. Along with that they also announced that PlayerUnkown’s Battlegrounds will finally be releasing for Xbox One.
But wait… Some players managed to find out a bunch of upcoming things when they Datamined the PC 1.0 Test server. Reddit User Bizzfarts Datamined the layout of the upcoming Desert Map.
Not only the map’s layout but users also found some new vehicles and a new weapon that we might be seeing in the game. Found by user Kiu16, a DP-28 light machine gun. According to Wikipedia, the DP-28 is a light machine gun firing the 7.62×54mmR cartridge that was used primarily by the Soviet Union starting in 1928. A new Jetski, Minibus and Pickup truck Datamined by Art-7s that you can have a look at in the images below:
The test server for PC 1.0 were to go live at the start of this month but due to some issues as the blog post reads the server wasn’t completely stable. “Right before opening the test servers, we concluded that the test build was not stable enough and decided to postpone the test. Although the current test build is not completely stable as of now, we still would like to open the test servers this week even for a short period of time.” They also warn players of client crashes while playing the test server for it is not completely stable right now.
The devs want the players to test out the long-awaited Vaulting and climbing features which seems pretty good to me. These features are sure to improve the gameplay and make it more realistic.
Following are a few more changes made in the game that is currently on the test server for PC 1.0:
- Inventory shows the space that will be gained for dropping item
- Smokes won’t be blowing in one direction anymore
- A new killfeed added in the top right corner
PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds will be coming out for Xbox One on 12 December with PC 1.0 coming late December.
