After a lot of leaks in the past few weeks, Nvidia has officially announced the Geforce GTX 1070 Ti. Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 Ti has come to take on AMD Radeon’s RX Vega 56 with the beastly hardware loaded inside it.
The Geforce GTX 1070 Ti makes its spot between GTX 1080 and GTX 1070. Having better performance than GTX 1070 and almost on par with GTX 1080. This new graphics card is set to release on 2 November with a price tag of $449. As far as the number of CUDA cores are concerned GTX 1070 Ti features 2,432 CUDA cores more than GTX 1070 1,920 cores and less than GTX 1080’s 2,560 cores.
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 Ti Specs.
As far as the specs are concerned they were leaked a few days ago however we will cover everything here in this article. GTX 1070 Ti is powered by a GP104 GPU, the same one used in GTX 1080. It comes with 2432 stream processors, 256-bit memory interface having 8 GB GDDR5 memory offering 256 GB/s bandwidth. Its clock frequency is set to 1607 MHz base and 1683 MHz with boost. It requires a single 8-Pin connector and a TDP rated at 180 W. Here is a comparison table that will give you a better idea of what this card will offer:
GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
GeForce GTX 1080
GeForce GTX 1070 Ti
GeForce GTX 1070
Die Size (mm²)
Core Clock (MHz)
Boost Clock (MHz)
Memory Bandwidth (GB/s)
8-pin + 6-pin
According to some leaks, it was said that the card won’t be overclockable but that turned out to be false. GTX 1070 Ti can be overclocked and now the only thing that gives GTX 1080 an advantage is the number of CUDA cores. Meaning that GTX 1070 Ti can give performance equal to GTX 1080 after being fairly overclocked.
