For Honor Season 3: Grudge & Glory – Details and Trailer
For Honor season 2 has come to an end and Ubisoft has revealed a new trailer showing off the upcoming Season 3. Doesn’t matter if the game has a good number of active players or not. The game is still getting a lot of support from Ubisoft. They are adding a lot more to the game every season.
For Honor: Grudge and Glory which is the “biggest season” that they have ever done, brings awesome new content to the game. This new content doesn’t only include new heroes and maps, it brings new features and modes into the game such as the 1v1 duel tournaments and some other changes in the gameplay.
For Honor Season 3 will be available on 15th August for the owner of the season pass. While other players will get to enjoy it after a week on 22nd August. Season Pass owners will be able to try out the new characters on the launch while others have to buy it using their in-game steel credits after a week.
New Characters and Maps
The two new heroes are Highlanders and Gladiators. Here’s is the official description for both of new heroes:
• Highlander (Viking [Class]) – Stoic and guarded, Highlanders are patient heroes capable of switching between two different fighting forms. Their defensive form allows for counter-attacking and trading blows, while their offensive form empowers them to unleash their deadliest attacks at the expense of being able to block. Wielding the heaviest and longest sword in the game, the Highlander’s massive claymore gives them a deadly combination of strength and range.
• Gladiator (Knight [Class]) – Wielding a trident and shield, the Gladiator has made a living off of killing for sport, they now bring their ruthlessness and skill to war. Fighters by trade, they are brash and boastful; equipped with little armour, they can punch their opponents to create separation to set up attacks and stuns. Their larger stamina meter and reduced cool down times make them extremely agile and dangerous opponents.
Along with two new heroes, the addition of two new maps is also included. The two new maps are named “Sentinel” and “Viking Village”. Both maps “hold a unique and deadly environmental hazard which will force players to master the terrain and be aware of their surroundings at all times.”, says Ubisoft.
Some more things being added this season are the New Legendary Gear Rarity, New improvements to the customization system and new features to the metagame.
Ubisoft will be showcasing For Honor: Grudge & Glory on For Honor’s Twitch Channel. The live stream will take place on 12 August at 11 am PT. The game has lost a lot of players since its launch. Ubisoft seems to be adding more and more each season to satisfy their players and bring what is lost.
