AMD Radeon RX Vega is the new graphics card coming soon. The card has not yet arrived however it’s already taking over the internet and attracting more and more gamers and tech enthusiasts towards itself.
The Radeon RX Vega comes equipped with 64 next-gen compute units. It will feature the 8 GB of latest HBM2 memory architecture. Having 4,096 stream processors as compared to AMD Radeon RX 580 which has only 2,304 stream processor with 36 compute units. Radeon RX Vega will offer 12.5 TFLOPS. 14 nm process node, 256 TMUs, 8 hardware threads, RX Vega, loaded with all these specs, aims at taking on the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080.
The best thing in all the above-mentioned specs, according to me, is the HBM2 architecture. The RX Vega is loaded with the second generation high-bandwidth memory architecture instead of the GDDR5 which is used in the RX 500 and RX 400 series. HBM2 is capable of achieving higher bandwidth and uses less power.
Radeon RX Vega Benchmarks.
According to Guru3d, there were some results leaked which seemed to be an RX Vega running a 3DMark benchmark Time Spy. The benchmark results gave the graphics card a 5721 score. Furthermore, they say that the graphics card was an undetected AMD card having 8 GB of graphics memory.
AMD RX Vega Benches Leak posted on RedGamingTech‘s youtube channel further explains the RX Vega benches and how fast it is.
